Denim is a twill weave with the warp yarns dyed in indigo blue, and the weft yards left undyed. Though, in this case, the warp yarns are dyed in black, giving this fabric a grey/black look. This 3.8 oz denim is a lightweight weave more suited to shirts or flowing pants. It has more a chambray feel to it, than a traditional denim for jeans. The fabric has a smooth hand and a nice drape.
